Terms of Service

Published 3 October 2026. This policy mirrors the current app’s disclosures.

Plus subscriptions

Aphrodite Plus is an auto-renewing App Store subscription. The purchase screen and Apple confirmation show the price, billing period and any eligible introductory offer. Payment is charged to your Apple account. Manage or cancel in your Apple subscription settings before renewal. Restore purchases from the Plus screen. Weekly and yearly plans grant the allowances shown in the app; included Credits reset each allocation period and do not roll over.

Bonus Credits

Credit packs are consumable in-app purchases for Plus members. Bonus Credits do not expire and are used after included plan Credits. An active Plus subscription is required to use paid analysis even if Bonus Credits remain. Completed purchases are verified server-side; repeated delivery of the same purchase grants Credits once. Failed analysis is refunded in Credits. Apple handles payment refund requests; a refunded pack may require balance reconciliation before paid access resumes.

Using Aphrodite

Aphrodite helps you explore makeup looks from images and public content links. You must have the right to submit a photo or link. Third-party platforms may restrict access to private, removed or region-limited posts.

Product matches

Visual resemblance does not prove a particular brand, shade or product was used. Creator-mentioned or readable products are distinguished from suggestions. Product references, prices and availability can change; confirm details with the retailer before purchasing.

Shopping links

Some product pages may be affiliate links when a relationship exists. Aphrodite will label those links. Purchases, shipping and returns are handled by the retailer under its own terms.

Beauty information

Recreation steps are inspiration, not medical or dermatological advice. Check ingredients, patch-test where appropriate and follow each product’s directions.

Your content and account

You retain rights in your content. You grant Aphrodite permission to process a submitted image or public link only to provide the requested analysis. You may delete analysis history in Privacy & data. Do not use the service to infringe others’ rights or interfere with its operation.

Availability and changes

Analysis, providers and catalog coverage can be incomplete or interrupted. We may update these terms as the service changes; material changes should be presented before they take effect.
